Unlike the limited 3D surface imaging functionality found on competing "3D" ultrasound systems, our industry-pioneering digital 3D imaging technology quickly and automatically captures true 3D volume information. That means that along with beautiful surface-rendered fetal images, you ll get the breakthrough ability to freely navigate through and examine an extremely accurate 3D volume dataset of the region of interest. Revolutionary Technology
Extended 3D applications
The biggest obstacle to capturing diagnostically useful 3D volume data has been in the scanning process. With practice and a steady hand, "freehand" 3D scanning can produce remarkable surface-rendered images. But the inherent lack of precision in this manual process makes the volume data virtually useless for diagnostic purposes. Our high-tech 3D probes have overcome this challenge with an ultra-precise automatic volume scanning mechanism that captures a high-resolution 3D dataset of
the region of interest. The scan data can then be reviewed and analyzed with the extensive suite of 3D post-processing and visualization tools available in our SonoView™ II image management application. There s simply no other 3D ultrasound system that offers so much for so little.

LIVE 3D
In pregnancy check-ups, the Live 3D mode captures detailed 3D images of the fetus in motion that will enhance paternal bonding as well as clearly reveal any congenital anomalies.

3D MULTI-PLANAR DISPLAY
Medison 3D imaging technology brings a new level of care and confidence to the Ob/Gyn field. In pre-pregnancy exams, the basic 3D mode supports multiplanar visualization of the uterus, a technological breakthrough that provides a comprehensive overview of uterine health. Multiplanar visualization is available to allow precise measurement of nuchal translucency for early diagnosis of Down syndrome.

VOCAL™ imaging mode automates the measurement of organ or growth olumes as well as shell area to accurately determine the degree of vascularization

3DIMAGE OPTIMIZATION
Medison 3D mode provides various image optimization for clear visualization of fetus, organs, etc, in 3D

ㆍ Surface rendering mode

Determine the quality of the surface rendered image by threshold control. The hypo echoic structure is characterized by selecting the threshold parameter.

ㆍ Transparent mode

Adjust 3D image quality depending either on hyper or hypo echoic structures.
ㆍMaximum mode : Hyper echoic structures like imaging bony structures
ㆍMinimum mode : Hypo echoic structures like vessels and cysts.
ㆍX-ray mode : Presentation of all gray values (mean values) within the ROI. Good for imaging.

ㆍ MagiCut

ㆍElectronic editing software to slice off the unwanted portion of the 3D rendered image.
